How do I create a cookie on my web form HTML?
I created a web form that I use for users to register Online. I need to create a cookie that will tell me if the user has registered on my site before (possibly using the address e-mail on the ground to verify). Once the cookie is created on the visitor's hard drive, I need the user to be redirected to one two websites: my confirmation page or a page showing the visitor that they have already signed. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you advance! By the way, I would like to have this cookie set in Java as I already have my form validation web codded in Java.

Four decades later Cavanaugh and Viola started teaming up again on a regular basis with bassist Allen Jackson in a highly enjoyable trio. Cavanaugh’s piano playing had (if anything) grown in power and creativity through the years while exploring the same modern swing style that he had earlier helped to popularize. For this CD (taken from the same session that had resulted in the equally satisfying Page One), the trio stretches out on nine memorable standards plus Cavanaugh’s “An Old Acquaintance”; the leader’s vocals on three songs are quite personable. The Forms $11.18 Nearly four years after their debut album, Icarus, the Forms return with the far superior self-titled follow-up. Again working with Steve Albini, the Brooklyn-based quartet moves far beyond the chilly, slightly pretentious post-rock of 2003′s Icarus. The Forms is much more song-based and melodic than its sketchier predecessor, with a new emphasis on structure and tunes. The album is still a moody and impressionistic affair that favors sensuality over literal meaning — lead singer Alex Tween’s vocals are buried so deep in the mix he often might as well not be singing in English — but songs like “Transmission,” “Getting It Back,” and “Knowledge in Hand” are far easier to grasp than anything on the Forms’ debut. Even the less direct material, like “Focus” and “Oberlin,” two brief songs that are more like evocative soundscapes than fully fleshed-out pop songs, feels more precisely put together. Experimental without losing its accessibility, The Forms is an excellent example of how to make a smart, compelling indie rock album without getting lost in the weeds of artsy meaninglessness. ~ Stewart Mason, Rovi |

Forms and Follies $12.78 The four years between Cavalcade (1999) and Forms and Follies (2003) were busy ones for Jeremy Jacobsen. He recorded two jazzy math rock albums with fellow Chicagoans Euphone, wound up on a Blues Explosion record (1999′s odds ‘n’ sods collection Xtra Acme), and dazzled crowds the world over with his bottomless bag of tricks as one-man band extraordinaire the Lonesome Organist. His reputation far outweighs his slim catalog of three albums in seven years, aided in no small part by his busy but not-so-lonesome tour schedule, which included a prestigious late-2002 appearance at the David Bowie-curated Meltdown festival. Recalling nothing so much as Laurie Anderson’s initial stab at avant pop that gave the world “O Superman,” Forms and Follies doesn’t ape Anderson, but its result is as quirky, eclectic, and, at times, haunting as her work. “Who’s to Say Your Soul’s Not Carbon” could be an Anderson song, albeit one grafted in a Frankenstein fashion upon a fuzzy, reanimated grunge/garage tune. Jacobsen dabbles in multi-tracked doo wop on “Only if I Get You,” imaginary soundtracks on “Walking to Weston’s,” and Quintron meets Bruce Haack organ and drum antics on “The Multiplier,” and he continues with these eclectic jumps for the entirety of Forms and Follies. If musical ambitiousness were not enough, there’s a weighty flipbook included with two vignettes of the Organist in action.
