Need some advice on 4 years of behavioral old …?

My 4 year old daughter will be 5 in April. When she is sweet, it is very sweet, adorable, lovable, but … when it is bad, I do not know what to do with myself … It is particularly difficult when we go somewhere. For example today, me, my fiance, and all out at the mall. Around half the mall, she begins to act and I can not oblige behave no matter what I say or do. So finally we end up leaving and heading home because she can not behave and I'm having a nap when we get home. My normal form of punishment at home is timeout, I will from time to time the tap on the hand or the butt, but I hit hard or hit with objects or things like that. But Im missing ideas for what to do to control his behavior at home and in public as well … Backtalk and it does constantly told, and I feel like her makes me mad. Help please

You need to get his behavior under control, it seems that if one controlling you. If you've tried different ways of punishment and nothing helps really there are programs for children with behavior problems. I know that any parent does not do that, but you do not want her to get more acting this way because it will only get worse.

Normal Forms and Unfoldings for Local Dynamical Systems

$167.39

This book is about normal forms–the simplest form into which a dynamical system can be put for the purpose of studying its behavior in the neighborhood of a rest point–and about unfoldings–used to study the local bifurcations that the system can exhibit under perturbation. The book presents the advanced theory of normal forms, showing their interaction with representation theory, invariant theory, Groebner basis theory, and structure theory of rings and modules. A complete treatment is given both for the popular "inner product style" of normal forms and the less well known "sl(2) style" due to Cushman and Sanders, as well as the author’s own "simplified" style. In addition, this book includes algorithms suitable for use with computer algebra systems for computing normal forms. The interaction between the algebraic structure of normal forms and their geometrical consequences is emphasized. The book contains previously unpublished results in both areas (algebraic and geometrical) and includes suggestions for further research. The book begins with two nonlinear examples–one semisimple, one nilpotent–for which normal forms and unfoldings are computed by a variety of elementary methods. After treating some required topics in linear algebra, more advanced normal form methods are introduced, first in the context of linear normal forms for matrix perturbation theory, and then for nonlinear dynamical systems. Then the emphasis shifts to applications: geometric structures in normal forms, computation of unfoldings, and related topics in bifurcation theory. This book will be useful to researchers and advanced students in dynamical systems, theoretical physics, and engineering.

Local Bifurcations, Center Manifolds, and Normal Forms in Infinite-Dimensional Dynamical Systems

$68.41

An extension of different lectures given by the authors, Local Bifurcations, Center Manifolds, and Normal Forms in Infinite Dimensional Dynamical Systems provides the reader with a comprehensive overview of these topics. Starting with the simplest bifurcation problems arising for ordinary differential equations in one- and two-dimensions, this book describes several tools from the theory of infinite dimensional dynamical systems, allowing the reader to treat more complicated bifurcation problems, such as bifurcations arising in partial differential equations. Attention is restricted to the study of local bifurcations with a focus upon the center manifold reduction and the normal form theory; two methods that have been widely used during the last decades. Through use of step-by-step examples and exercises, a number of possible applications are illustrated, and allow the less familiar reader to use this reduction method by checking some clear assumptions. Written by recognised experts in the field of center manifold and normal form theory this book provides a much-needed graduate level text on bifurcation theory, center manifolds and normal form theory. It will appeal to graduate students and researchers working in dynamical system theory.

Poisson Structures and Their Normal Forms

$93.51

Poisson manifolds play a fundamental role in Hamiltonian dynamics, where they serve as phase spaces. They also arise naturally in other mathematical problems, and form a bridge from the "commutative world" to the "noncommutative world." The aim of this book is twofold: On the one hand, it gives a quick, self-contained introduction to Poisson geometry and related subjects, including singular foliations, Lie groupoids and Lie algebroids. On the other hand, it presents a comprehensive treatment of the normal form problem in Poisson geometry. Even when it comes to classical results, the book gives new insights. It contains results obtained over the past 10 years which are not available in other books.

So This Is Normal Too?

$22.52

Tattling, aggression, and temper tantrums are examples of "normal" behaviors that can be difficult for teachers, caregivers, and families to handle. If ignored, these behaviors can grow into difficult, unappealing habits. "So This Is Normal Too? Second Edition" focuses on how teachers can observe and identify children who need more specific support and provides effective and practical solutions to guide children as they learn new skills and improve behaviors. Filled with child development information on twenty-one skills and behaviors, this resource links early learning standards to behavior and skill challenges. It also includes action planning forms and family handouts.

Benchmarking Workbook: With Examples and Ready-Made Forms

$183.41

The Benchmarking Workbook will do exactly what the title suggests make it easier for you to put theory into practice. It is a "do-it-yourself" guide to benchmarking. Benchmarking methods are simple, easy to grasp, and universal everyone can do it But many people suffer from unclear frames of reference, impossible deadlines, inadequate budgets, unexplained expectations; even when these obstacles are overcome, the greatest danger is becoming swamped by detail. This is where the Benchmarking Workbook will prove to be a major ally. If you are on a benchmarking team, you will find that this workbook is a tool to help get at the practical aspects; aspects with which books of theory just cannot cope. It includes * examples from actual cases * self-diagnostic "what to do" sections * forms, checklists and questionnaires The Benchmarking Workbook helps you * organize your research * clarify your thinking * prioritize your findings The Benchmarking Workbook has been developed by Karlof and Partners. It is the practical companion to the original book Benchmarking: A Signpost to Excellence in Quality and Productivity by Bengt Karlof and Svante Ostblom, published by John Wiley & Sons.

Normal Forms and Bifurcation of Planar Vector Fields

$80.58

This book is mainly concerned with the bifurcation theory of ODEs. Chapters 1 and 2 of the book introduce two systematic methods of simplifying equations: center manifold theory and normal form theory, by which one may reduce the dimension of equations and change forms of equations to be as simple as possible. Chapters 3-5 of the book study in considerable detail the bifurcation of those one or two dimensional equations with one, two or several parameters.
