The problem arose when attemped to enter the small application in the web.config in the small application (C #). How can I solve this problem.?? I tried to isolate them in IIS and make each separate web application one and I did but I could not use the resources Big One (user controls) .. Palmprint Authentication

$129.55

Palmprint Authentication is the first book to provide a comprehensive introduction to palmprint technologies. It reveals automatic biometric techniques for personal identification using palmprint, from the approach based on offline palmprint images, to the current state-of-the-art algorithm using online palmprint images. Palmprint Authentication provides the reader with a basic concept of Palmprint Authentication. It also includes an in-depth discussion of Palmprint Authentication technologies, a detailed description of Palmprint Authentication systems, and an up-to-date coverage of how these issues are developed. This book is suitable for different levels of readers: those who want to learn more about palmprint technology, and those who wish to understand, participate, and/or develop a palmprint authentication system. Palmprint Authentication is effectively a handbook for biometric research and development. Graduate students and researchers in computer science, electrical engineering, systems science, and information technology will all find it uniquely useful, not only as a reference book, but also as a text book. Researchers and practitioners in industry, and R&D laboratories working in the fields of security system design, biometrics, immigration, law enforcement, control, and pattern recognition will also benefit from this volume.

802.1X Port-Based Authentication

$91.98

Port-based authentication is a "network access control" concept in which a particular device is evaluated before being permitted to communicate with other devices located on the network. 802.1X Port-Based Authentication examines how this concept can be applied and the effects of its application to the majority of computer networks in existence today. 802.1X is a standard that extends the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) over a Local Area Network (LAN) through a process called Extensible Authentication Protocol Over LANs (EAPOL). The text presents an introductory overview of port-based authentication including a description of 802.1X port-based authentication, a history of the standard and the technical documents published, and details of the connections among the three network components. It focuses on the technical aspect of 802.1X and the related protocols and components involved in implementing it in a network. The book provides an in-depth discussion of technology, design, and implementation with a specific focus on Cisco devices. Including examples derived from the 802.1X implementation, it also addresses troubleshooting issues in a Cisco environment. Each chapter contains a subject overview. Incorporating theoretical and practical approaches, 802.1X Port-Based Authentication seeks to define this complex concept in accessible terms. It explores various applications to today’s computer networks using this particular network protocol.

Protocols for Authentication and Key Establishment

$76.89

Protocols for authentication and key establishment are the foundation for security of communications. The range and diversity of these protocols is immense, while the properties and vulnerabilities of different protocols can be remarkably subtle. Here is a comprehensive and integrated treatment of protocols for authentication and key establishment. It allows researchers and practitioners to quickly access a protocol for their needs and become aware of existing protocols that have been broken in the literature. As well as a clear and uniform presentation of the protocols, this book includes a description of all the main attack types and classifies most protocols in terms of their properties and resource requirements. It also includes tutorial material suitable for graduate students.

how to design a Web portal?

I want to design a web portal where a form based authentication and profile generation based menu with the permission of each separate Web Application … On connection, the user SHD be able to see the links to alone web application, it is allowed access to … its something like www.yahoo.com and my yahoo page which user specific, I m using jsp and javascript …. Abt im more concerned about the level of authorization that not all users SHD be able to see links to all applications on the home page after login … Is there a way may authorize verification of the user when the index page of any application is available assumming yr so many applications in a folder

So what do you want, we post the entire script to you or something? Make a login script, then use the PHP to see if statements to check if the user is connected, if it is true then display the links, if false, then hide them.
