Looking through some files I had recently downloaded, I came across this interesting plugin called cforms II.

It basically allows you to add a contact form anywhere on your blog.

These forms are fully customizable, and you can store different forms that you can access through your wysiwyg editor in wordpress.

There was a default form, and the only thing I had to do was to change the style and add the captcha. This only took about 10 seconds to figure out and place it in the post.

There is so many options to use with this plugin, that it gets a place on the dashboard next to the design and comments tab in wordpress.

It gets activated like all normal plugins, but don’t look for it in the settings tab like other normal plugins.

With a little editing of the css file on the design settings page of cforms(yes it has its own design settings) I could have made this look like anything with custom colors for every part of the form.

Or you can just use one of the many included css files to make things easier. Which is what I did here.

Adding a new field is just as easy, just click on the plus sign in your form customization menu, and it add a new field. Then you select the field type from a dropdown menu, name the field and the rest is done for you.

Bottom line is cforms will let you add contact forms and surveys and whatever else you can dream up using forms. And best of all, its another free plugin to help you get your blog rolling without a whole lot of extra coding by hand.
