The IRS deadline to electronically file your 1099 form is March 31, 2011. As Per IRS regulations any person/s required to file 250 returns or more must file those returns electronically. $50 per information return if you file after August 1 or you do not file required information returns; maximum penalty $250,000 per year ($100,000 for small businesses)

I have a legal question about advance directives?
Is an ‘advance directive’ still legal in Florida (we’re now Florida residents) if you received it in another state? (Maine). I just found 2 forms which we’d brought with us & haven’t been filled out & wondered if we use them, are they still legal….?
If you haven’t filled the forms out they are not legal documents. To be legal, an advanced directive must be signed and witnessed. The forms from one state are likely legal in another, but not until they are filled in and officially signed.

Should I allow others to view my passport?
I am travelling to China with this program and will be there for 5 weeks.
I should be receiving my passport in the mail tomorrow. the program is asking me to fill out a form, send then $80 and my passport.
I have no problem sending the form and $80 so i can get my visa to get into China but ….should i send them my passport?
i mean, i would assume that is personal and has some private information such as s.s.n.

Otherwise, you’d have to remit the entire matter to the Chinese Embassy or consular office IN PERSON.
