MS InfoPath 2003 – filling out forms?

I was thinking about using InfoPath to design some business forms inculding a Request For Proprosal form. I was wondering though, would our vendors need to have the InfoPath program in order to fill out the form before sending it back to me?

Ideally, I would use IP to design the form, then email it to them, then have them email the response back to me, where I would use IP to collaborate the information and compare proposals using Excel. However I do not expect many of our vendors would have this program or be willing to install it.

Am I living in a dream world? icon smile designing forms infopath

Yes, I do believe each vendor would have to have the program. They maybe able to email you the info and then you could compile the information into the program for your records only.
