"What you should know about mastectomy? Breast cancer is the fourth leading cause of death next to the prostate, skin and lung cancer. Studies have shown that 83% of women who underwent mastectomy were satisfied with the results of their decision. Even if this is good news, it must be adequately informed about potential risks and sequelae of this treatment.

What are the risks of mastectomy? The risks of mastectomy include numbness, tingling and increased sensitivity of the skin. A patient is expected for months to rest and take precautionary measures. Avoid strenuous activities such as driving, swimming, taekwondo, etc. If severe pain is encountered, a visit to the surgeon should be scheduled 7 to 10 days after the procedure. Emotional care is another important aspect of recovery from a mastectomy. Patients are advised to seek advice and / or support groups and express their emotions to others, whether family, friends or therapists. Another thing that a patient can regain the confidence of its port mastectomy breast prostheses or bras post mastectomy.

black belt forms taekwondo black belt forms taekwondo

Taekwondo is derived from several martial arts with the main influence being tae – Kyon Korean kick fighting. "Tae" means to kick. "Kwon" means to strike using the hand, in most cases the fist. "Do" refers to the way of art, as in the examples of Hapkido, Karate-do, etc. Ninjado Thus, the foundation of art is the use of hands and feet to overcome an attacker quickly.

History:

Taekwondo was originally developed in Korea in the 1950s, when a group of leading exponents of martial arts gathered to combine their respective disciplines under a single combat system. The inauguration took place in South Korea April 11, 1955, with Major-General Choi Hong Hi, 9th Dan black belt, being credited as the founder. However, its roots go back nearly 2,000 years when she was born a Art called Hwarang do, means "the way of the flowering manhood".

The Hwarang were young noblemen, influenced by the teachings Confucius, who formed a patriotic society during the unification of Korea under the Silla Dynasty, around 600AD. The Silla kingdom was the smallest 3 in the Korean Peninsula and has been constantly under attack from its two stronger neighbors. It is these constant invasions which led Silla nobility to develop a combat system to protect their kingdom.

Towards the end of the 10th century, following the unification of Korea, learning taekwondo became compulsory for all young men. But around the 16th century, the military traditions of the country fell disgrace in general and the practice of Taekwondo has been kept alive by Buddhist monks. Following the Japanese occupation in 1909, removing any form of martial art only served to continue its decline. The remaining few dedicated practitioners emigrated to China and Japan and therefore art has survived.

After liberation in 1945, many Korean exiles returned to their homeland and reintroduced an improved version Taekwondo. The Korean government, through its canpaign to reaffirm national identity after years of Japanese occupation, supported the practice Taekwondo officially sponsoring it. This led to a more formal approach to teaching and grading of the discipline.

Taekwondo spread in worldwide from Korea in the 1960s and the first world championship in taekwondo was held in Seoul, South Korea, in 1973. Since 1988, Taekwondo was listed as an Olympic sport.

Competitive Fighting:

The struggle against competition in Taekwondo is purely optional. For those involved, the competitions are divided into 3 sections – sparring, patterns and destruction.

Sparring involves 2 doctors practicing combat techniques develop timing, direction and speed. It is conducted in a controlled environment so that no unnecessary injuries occur. In competition, the goal is to score points with the provision of proper techniques to target areas.

The grounds are a whole series combination of techniques performed in a sequence against an imaginary opponent. This is similar to karate, which refers to models as kata or Kung Fu, which uses all movements called forms.

Destruction refers to advanced techniques in which practitioners learn to break, for example, a piece of wood about 0.5 to 1 cm thick. The objective is to ensure that the power and jurisdiction Technology is really effective. It is also designed to focus the mind.

USA Taekwondo

$98.77

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles USA Taekwondo is the national governing body (NGB) of Taekwondo for the United States Olympic Committee and as such is the official Member National Association (MNA) of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) in the USA. It began in the 1970s as the AAU National Taekwondo Association, and later broke away from AAU and created the United States Taekwondo Union (USTU). In 2004, its name changed to USA Taekwondo (USAT) after the USOC removed the leadership of the former USTU for malfeasance. The organization has complete authority over all decisions regarding U.S. national junior and senior team selections for World Taekwondo Federation events, including the Summer Olympic Games Taekwondo competition event. The tournaments that are held by the USAT are big and nationwide and many famous martial artists attend the events. The U.S. Open is one of the largest international Black belt (martial arts)only events in the world. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F.
