Using MS Access, I want to find records based on data entered in a form similar to Research (garnish) in FoxPro
I am new to Access and Visual Basic. What I need is to type a name on the form, then the index of the table in the appropriate field, and the search for "John Doe", for example in the table. When I program in FoxPro I enter something like this: select Customers use an alias customers blacklisted cname aname = Space (30) bnam = SPACE (30) @ 1,1 say "Name:" read if aname aname = Space (30) SEEK RETURN ENDIF (TRIM) @ 3.1 AName SAY "NAME" + AName-OR-DEFINE POPUP PROMPT 1.2 GetName your name, address, telephone FOR NAME = AName ON SELECTION POPUP GetName, RELEASE POPUP GetName STORE NAME bnam CLEAR SAY @ 3.1 "Customer Name:" + bnam I do not remember if these orders are 100% accurate, but I want to find documents on the basis of data entered in a text box or a method other suggestion. I need a good tutorial on the use tables and others.
You need to write a SQL query that …. Fron take the value of the text box and send as a parameter to the query .. the query will be Select * from
