Using MS Access, I want to find records based on data entered in a form similar to Research (garnish) in FoxPro

I am new to Access and Visual Basic. What I need is to type a name on the form, then the index of the table in the appropriate field, and the search for "John Doe", for example in the table. I need a good tutorial on the use tables and others.
