Hello everybody and welcome to my Dreamweaver Form Validation Tutorial, glad you could make!

I suppose you're there to learn So lets jump right on it.

1. Start by creating a new HTML document.

2. Go to the panel and inserting the form of select drop-down menu.

3. Click the Form button at the top to insert a form tag in your Dreamweaver document. The form tag is the place when you enter parameters such as whole. where you want to send and how to send the form.

4. Next inserts a table in the form to be able to arrange the text boxes. To do this, select "common" list box in panel insertion and click on "Table". This opens a dialog table.

5. Inside the dialog box enter the following command and press OK.

Rows: 4 Columns: 2 Table Width: 400 pixels Border Thickness: 0 pixels

6. In the left column on the first line, type "Name:"

7. In the right column insert a Spry validation text fields by going to the Forms menu on the panel Insert and click on "Spry validation text fields.

8. A dialog box will appear Tag input you can give certain attributes of the tag. Enter the name in the ID field and press OK.

9. Repeat steps 6-8 in the second row of the table. Instead "name" use "email" yet.

10. In the first column in row 3 write "Comment:" and insert a second column "Spry Validation Text Area" instead of the text filed. Give the text box of "Comment ID" and press OK.

11. In the last row of the table, add a button in one column and give it an ID to send.

However, all objects have was added to the form. Allows you to enter optional validation.

12. Select the scope of the initial validation by clicking the blue contour around the text box. Down to the Properties panel and enter "2" within the symbols "min".

This indicates Dreamweaver it must be at least 2 characters this text field to send.

13. Select the field validation e-mail and change the "Type" Drop Down, found in the properties panel, to "E-mail". This tells Dreamweaver that text included in this form must be in the form of an e-mail.

To be able to send the form to a certain so you need to apply some settings in the form itself. The easiest way to send a form by using the visitors own program email to send to his family via e-mail. To do this, follow these steps.

14. Select the form by clicking on the red line around the table. 15. In the properties panel of the selection method "POST" and enter it in the text box Action: "mailto: your-email@address.com"

Of course you need to change your own email address.

So ultimately saves form by going to File – Save. Dreamweaver prompts you when it's going to copy two files to the Site, your only option is to click OK. These files are needed for your web browser to validate the form.

You can now test the form by clicking on the globe next to the text box under the top of your window.

The method of using "mailto:" to send the form is not best and safest. One thing that is easy to be done to improve safety is by encoding the mailto function or using a PHP script to send your form. Dreamweaver Tutorials on how to proceed can be found on many places on the web. Google is your friend!

Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship

$233.03

The papers in this volume represent some of the leading work on intellectual property. They address the question of how to create incentives to develop new technologies and how to protect those technologies once developed from theft. They also ask when valuable property might be developed even under weak ownership conditions. Other papers address how firms balance the tradeoffs in considering costly patent litigation and they examine the antitrust implications. Although issues of intellectual property rights would seem to be ones of interest only to obscure groups of academics and lawyers, they have become topics of everyday discussion among the regular population. Alleged copyright infringements by people downloading music from the internet and accompanying threats of prosecution as well as charges of strategic patenting to harm competitors in recent high profile antitrust cases have placed intellectual property into public and political debate. The incentives provided by secure property rights for promoting research and development, investment, production, and exchange are well known. These are the major arguments for patents, copyrights and other forms of intellectual property. Constructing Intellectual Property By George, Alexandra

$132.82

What is intellectual property? This book examines the way in which this important area of law is constructed by the legal system. It argues that intellectual property is a body of rules, created by the legal system, that regulate the documented forms of abstract objects, which are also defined into existence by the legal system. Intellectual property law thus constructs its own objects of regulation and it does so through the application of a collection of core concepts. By analyzing the metaphysical structure of intellectual property law and the concepts the legal system uses to construct intellectual property, the book sheds new light on the nature of this fascinating area of law. It explains anomalies between social and intellectual property usesof concepts such as authorshiphere dubbed creatorshipand originality and it helps to explain the role of intellectual property from a structural (rather than the traditional normative) perspective Provided by publisher. ChallengeHandshake Authentication Protocol

$90.81

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles In computing, the ChallengeHandshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) authenticates a user or network host to an authenticating entity. That entity may be, for example, an Internet service provider. CHAP provides protection against playback attack by the peer through the use of an incrementally changing identifier and of a variable challengevalue. CHAP requires that both the client and server know the plaintext of the secret, although it is never sent over the network. Microsoft has implemented a variant of the Challengehandshake authentication protocol, called MSCHAP, which does not require either peer to know the plaintext. BSD Authentication

$79.66

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles BSD Authentication, otherwise known as BSD Auth, is an authentication framework and software API employed by some Unixlike operating systems, specifically OpenBSD and BSD/OS, and accompanying system and application software such as OpenSSH and Apache. It originated with BSD/OS and although the specification and implementation were donated to the FreeBSD project by BSDi, ultimately OpenBSD chose to adopt the framework in release 2.9. Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM) serves a similar purpose on other operating systems such as Linux, FreeBSD and NetBSD. BSD Auth performs authentication by executing scripts or programs as separate processes from the one requiring the authentication. This prevents the child authentication process from interfering with the parent except through a narrowly defined interprocess communication API, a technique inspired by the principle of least privilege and known as privilege separation. This behaviour has significant security benefits, notably improved failsafeness of software, and robustness against malicious and accidental software bugs. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 116 Publication Date: 2010/08/22 Language: English Dimensions: 6.00 x 9.02 x 0.28 inches

Authentication Protocols

$172.06

In single password based antiphishing protocol, client can use single password for different online accounts and that password can not be detected by any of the malicious servers or the attacker. Proposed cookies based and an inverse cookie based virtual password authentication protocols are very effective to thwart online dictionary attacks because the computation cost of login on to the web server increases exponentially with each login failure for an attacker. We proposed an efficient SSO password based twoserver architecture in which the user has to login once to get a valid ticket. Improvements to several static and dynamic identity based authentication protocols have also been suggested. The proposed dynamic identity based authentication protocols aim to provide the privacy to the users identity so that users are anonymous in communication channel. Also the concept of two tier authentication for the client makes it difficult for an attacker to guess out the information pertaining to password and ticket. The work presented in this book is a step toward making ecommerce transactions more reliable and secure. Authentication Protocol

$149.76

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles An authentication protocol is a type of cryptographic protocol with the purpose of authenticating entities wishing to communicate securely. A security protocol (cryptographic protocol or encryption protocol) is an abstract or concrete protocol that performs a securityrelated function and applies cryptographic methods. A protocol describes how the algorithms should be used. A sufficiently detailed protocol includes details about data structures and representations, at which point it can be used to implement multiple, interoperable versions of a program. Extensible Authentication Protocol

$81.25

Extensible Authentication Protocol, or EAP, is a universal authentication framework frequently used in wireless networks and PointtoPoint connections. It is defined in RFC 3748, which has been updated by RFC 5247. Although the EAP protocol is not limited to wireless LANs and can be used for wired LAN authentication, it is most often used in wireless LANs. The WPA and WPA2 standard has officially adopted five EAP types as its official authentication mechanisms. EAP is an authentication framework, not a specific authentication mechanism. The EAP provides some common functions and a negotiation of the desired authentication mechanism. Such mechanisms are called EAP methods and there are currently about 40 different methods. Methods defined in IETF RFCs include EAPMD5, EAPOTP, EAPGTC, EAPTLS, EAPIKEv2, EAPSIM, and EAPAKA, and in addition a number of vendor specific methods and new proposals exist. Commonly used modern methods capable of operating in wireless networks include EAPTLS, EAPSIM, EAPAKA, PEAP, LEAP and EAPTTLS. Password Authentication Protocol

$79.66

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles A password authentication protocol (uncapitalized) is an authentication protocol that uses a password. PAP is used by Point to Point Protocol to validate users before allowing them access to server resources. Almost all network operating system remote servers support PAP. PAP transmits unencrypted ASCII passwords over the network and is therefore considered insecure. It is used as a last resort when the remote server does not support a stronger authentication protocol, like CHAP or EAP (while the last is actually a framework). An authentication protocol is a type of cryptographic protocol with the purpose of authenticating entities wishing to communicate securely. Eye Protection

$60.54

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Eye protection is protective gear for the eyes, which comes in many types depending upon the threat that is to be reduced. The threats can be particles, light, wind blast, heat, sea spray or some type of ball or puck used in sports. Eye protection was invented on November 2, 1880 by P.Johnson. Goggles are forms of protective eyewear that usually enclose or protect the eye area in order to prevent particulates, infectious fluids, or chemicals from striking the eyes. For example, when swimming, goggles protect the eyes against water. The human eye is sensitive to intense light because it damages the retina and can even blind the individual. There are many different types of eye protection against light suited for different applications. The most common forms of eye protection against light are sunglasses. These primarily protect against UV light from the sun and help increase visibility in bright conditions.
