Dreamweaver Forms – "Submit" button woes?
In Dreamweaver, how do I get the 'Submit' button to actually * * Mail (such as mailto:) form data to an email address. At present, DW opens a blank email to the address duly taken into account e-mail destination, but the email content are empty, regardless of what is put into a form. Thank you Kevin C. Your answer is about to be the chosen one, except for one problem is still not yet been resolved … I can not choose "onsubmit" as a type of behavior valid (for the Submit button), so I do not know how to integrate this aspect of your response. I was wrong with this last little detail. I realize that I select the form * * (not on the Submit button) and then I can choose "onsubmit" However, I am not sure what behavior to choose. Am I ", calling the Javascript? I think not because I'm using it. Php file I now have in the cgi-bin.
I had the same problem: go to this site and download simplescript.php make your form in DW point the form onSubmit = "http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/simplescript.php" simplescript.php put it in your cgi-bin or copy and paste this to a new file, save it simplescript.php
